"David Auxier's voice ... proof that God exists."
CABARET REVIEWS & QUOTES
"David Auxier is a triple-threat - no, make that a triple-TREAT - well, maybe both. He's a singer, an actor and a song-writer; plus he's nice, attractive and a totally engaging performer."

"I did get up to DILLON'S to catch David Auxier's 'Family Affair' holiday show at 7:30 pm. I had missed it when it was performed earlier this fall. The show was truly a treat ... The show included a number of original tunes by several members of the cast, and it was truly a fun evening - entertainment wise."

"With tons of energy and charm...where's this kid been hiding?"
- Scott Barbarino (www.cabaretexchange.com)
"Happy thought: David Auxier's show is really wonderful. He sang a bunch of Mark York's songs (lovely), and even made several of them into four-part harmonies with York (who doubled as pianist), Kenneth Sakil, and Janet Dunn. Really great show."

"At about 6 and a half feet tall, nicely chiseled and more than slightly intimidating with his goatee and close-cropped hair, he looks more like the menacing bouncer who'd make a guy nervous about how legitimate his fake ID looks than the guy who'd sweetly wrap a gentle baritone voice around "My Romance" (nicely counter-melodied with "Namely You" by musical director Jim Allen) or get delightfully silly with "Very Soft Shoes". As someone who previously only knew his booming renditions of "Sweet Transvestite" and "Orange Colored Sky" before Wednesday night's solo cabaret show at Pieces, I was impressed but not surprised by his versatility. "-Michael Dale
"Part of the time I felt like I was at a Broadway show. Then I'd feel like I was listening to a CD. Next time I'm bringing my wife, she would love this!"
THEATRE REVIEWS
"Soprano Megan Loomis and basso David Auxier added fine vocals and were
both very funny in their small roles of the frisky slave girl
Honey-of-Life and her jealous suitor, The Grand Vizier. "

"Director Mark York and Choreographer David Auxier ... have done a handsome job mounting the show ... Even if you’re not a musical theater history buff, this is a show to see."
